Evenflo has recalled cake toys on Evenflo ExerSaucer® 1-2-3 Tea for Me™ Activity Learning Centers due to choking hazard. About 66,000 were recalled in the United States, and 13,660 in Canada.
The candle flame attached to the top of the cake toy can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children.
Evenflo has received 11 reports of the toy flames detaching. Five of the incidents occurred in the United States and six in Canada. No injuries have been reported.
This recall involves Evenflo ExerSaucer® 1-2-3 Tea for Me™ activity learning centers. The tea party themed toys have a two-tier cake that is light blue, dark pink and yellow. Models included in the recall are 6161834 and 6161920. The model numbers are printed on the packaging and on a label located on the underside of the base of the product. The recommended age for use of this product is 4 months to walking.
The recalled activity centers were sold at Toys “R” Us and juvenile product stores nationwide from December 2007 through March 2009 for about $70.
Consumers should immediately remove the cake toy from the product and contact Evenflo to receive a free replacement toy. The ExerSaucer® may continue to be used without the cake toy.

Fisher-Price has recalled about 15,000 Learning Pots and Pans toy sets. Missing screws can cause the clear plastic cover to come loose and release small balls, presenting a choking hazard to young children.
The Learning Pots and Pans toy sets include stackable pots and pans, a lid and shape-sorting blocks. The toys have light and sound features. Model number G6685 is located on the bottom of the blue pan. The toys were made in China and sold in discount department and toy stores nationwide from October 2007 to August 2008 for about $20.
Consumers should immediately take these recalled toys away from children and examine the bottom of the blue pan. The pan should contain six screws. If all six screws are installed, no further action is necessary. If any screws are missing, the consumer should contact Fisher-Price to arrange for the return of the blue pan for a replacement. Fisher Price recalled approximately 155,000 Laugh & Learn Learning Kitchen Toys yesterday. The recall involves a play kitchen with a pretend refrigerator, range and sink. Pieces of the faucet and the clock hands can easily detach, causing a choking hazard for young children. To date, there have been 48 reports of the detaching parts, including two instances of children gagging on the pieces: One child started to choke on a piece, and another child choked on a piece.
The product’s item number, L5067, is stamped in several places on the toy and printed on the packaging on the UPC. The toys, which were manufactured in Mexico, were sold at various retail and toy specialty stores nationwide from May 2007 through October 2007 for about $70.

KB Toys has recalled about 10,000 wooden learning toys because the levels of lead on surface paint violate the federal lead paint standard.
The following toys are included in the recall: Wooden Pull-Along Alphabet & Math Block Wagons, Wooden Pull-Along Learning Blocks Wagons, 10-in-1 Activity Learning Carts, and Flip-Flip Alphabet Blocks. All recalled toys were made in China and sold at KB Toys stores nationwide.
The Wooden Pull-Along Alphabet & Math Block Wagons and Learning Blocks Wagons contain 28 blocks and a pull string. The blocks have letters, words, numbers, and pictures on them. The wagons measure 7 1/2″ by 13″. The words “First Learning” or “My Kidz” are printed on the packaging as well as UPC #834162002158 or #834162002165. They were sold from August 2005 to August 2007 for $9-13.
The 10-in-1 Activity Learning Carts measure 7 1/2″ by 16 1/2″ by 7 3/4″ with “First Learning” and UPC #834162002127 printed on the packaging. They were sold from August 2006 to September 2007 for about $30.
The Flip-Flop Alphabet Blocks measure about 10 1/8″ by 10 3/4″ by 2 3/4″ and have “First Learning and UPC #834162001212 on the packaging. The blocks have letters, words, numbers, and pictures on them. They were sold from August 2006 to September 2007 for $7.
